Highasakite gründeten sich 2012 in Norwegen und veröffentlichten im selben Jahr ihr Debütalbum „All That Floats Will Rain“, das überragende Kritiken einheimste. 2014 folgte „Silent Treatment“, das in Norwegen sogar auf Platz 1 der Charts landete und für das solide Songwriting gefeiert wurde. 2016 folgte das dritte Album „Camp Echo“ – die Single „Someone Who’ll Get It“ hat bereits mehr als 3 Millionen Plays auf Spotify zu verzeichnen. Im Oktober sind Highasakite in Hamburg live zu sehen.
