Coming from the South take motorway A72 and exit at Chemnitz-Süd. Continue on B173 and follow the signs.
Coming from the North take motorway A4 and exit at Chemnitz Mitte. Continue on B95 direction Chemnitz Zentrum/centre.

Getting there / Parking
Next stop of public transport is approx. 200 metres away. Mobility impaired visitors arriving by car may use specially designed parking spaces in underground car-park of Terminal 3 - access via Brückenstraße, in underground car-park 'Roter Turm' and in park deck 'City-Parkhaus'. The 'Großer Saal' and 'Salon am Tropenhaus' are directly accessible via elevator from the underground car-park of Terminal 3.

Barrier-free access to venue 'Großer Saal'
The entrance has a width of 180 centimetres, a regular door is installed. A ramp (10% grade, 9 metres in lenght) allows access to the main lobby. Handrails are provided on both sides of the ramp.

Please note that unfortunately the cloak room is not accessible to wheelchair users. Please address yourself to the service staff at the entrance.

The circle section of 'Großer Saal' is accessibale via elevator. Wheelchair spaces are located in the stalls section only.

Balkon G (left balcony) of 'Großer Saal' is provided with induction loops.

Barrier-free access to venue 'Kleiner Saal'
The entrance of venue 'Kleiner Saal' can be reached by elevator, located left of the ticket service counter of Stadthalle Chemnitz. The Entrance has a width oft 180 centimetres, a regular door is installed. The cloak room of the small lobby is saccessible for wheelchair users. Wheelchair spaces are provided in venue 'Kleiner Saal'.

Induction loops are installed throughout the auditorium.

Toilets
Restrooms for mobility impaired persons are marked by pictograms. They are located in the main lobby as well as in the small lobby.

The door to the toilet has a width of 120 centimetres. It can be unlocked from outside. An alarm button is provided at 82 centimetres height. Washbasin tap can be operated by lever. Handles are provided alongside the toilet, raisable on both sides.

Various parking facilities are provided in the centre of town. The following parking decks are located in close proximity to the venue:
