Saarbrücken can be reached from Mannheim via motorway A6 (130 km), from Koblenz via A1 (200 km), from Stuttgart via A8 (250 km).

Coming from the A1 change at Saarbrücken junction on the A8 direction Zweibrücken. At Friedrichstahl interchange take A623 direction Saarbrücken. The motorway ends with a crotch in Saarbrücken. Take the right exit direction football stadium (Ludwigsparkstadion). In approx. 500 metres make a left turn leading direrctly to the Saarlandhalle.

Approaching via A6 or A620 you go along Westspange/western junction straight up to the roundabout Ludwigskreisel. Leave the roundabout continueing straight ahead direction Ludwigsparkstadion. In approx. 500 metres turn right at the traffic lights to the Saarlandhalle.

- Access to main hall and balcony: barrier-free via main entrance.
- Access to stalls and lower level: take the elevator at the main entrance operated by the staff. For use please refer to a marshal at the main entrance.
- Access to halls 1 to 7: barrier-free via main entrance.
- The Restaurant is accessible via the main entrance of the Saarlandhalle.
- Restrooms for mobility impaired visitors are located on the lower level/arena level, ground level/entrance level Foyer A and upper level (Foyer A)
