ABOUT THE WORLD OF BANKSY

More than just an exhibition, The World of Banksy is an unauthorized tribute to the artist’s work. While his originals remain rarely accessible, this exhibition brings his most iconic pieces together in a single venue, pushing creative boundaries and exploring new artistic expressions.

With partners in France, Italy, Czech Republic, Germany, England, the U.S., the UAE, and Portugal, we recreate Banksy’s works with local graffiti artists, ensuring his messages reach a wider audience. His themes—war, imperialism, peace, individualism, greed, poverty, capitalism, consumerism, and hypocrisy—continue to spark conversation.

ZStaying true to Banksy’s famously known claim that, “Copyright is for losers,” our exhibitions are proudly 100% unauthorized and completely independent of the artist. In an actually very banksy-esque fashion, this exhibition is unauthorized.

ABOUT BANKSY

Banksy, the British graffiti artist, is a leading figure in contemporary street art. His satirical works tackle universal issues like politics, culture, and ethics. Despite his unknown identity, his thought-provoking pieces have appeared in controversial locations worldwide, from London to Gaza, New York to Tokyo. His works have also made their way into major institutions like the British Museum, Tate Modern, and the Louvre. While some see his critique of pop culture, politics, and the art world as mere rebellion, others view it as genius. Christina Aguilera purchased his Queen Victoria piece, Justin Bieber tattooed Red Balloon Girl, and auction houses continue to sell his works at record prices—despite his resistance to art’s commercialization. In 2010, Time Magazine named him one of the world’s most influential people, alongside Lady Gaga, Obama, Sir Elton John, and Prince.
