Ratzke, an entertainer extraordinaire whose shows are a spectacle of art and wonderfully manic music that have incited furore worldwide now takes a closer look at Bowie and, in STARMAN, creates a figure that goes far beyond a mere homage to a living legend: STARMAN comes from another planet and is a kind of 'Baron von Münchhausen from outer space'. In STARMAN Ratzke sends his audience on a crazy, incredible, entertaining journey from the stars via New York to Berlin. From seventies Glam Rock to groovy sound collages, right up to tender confessions on a rustily whining piano - Sven Ratzke is accompanied by his brilliant three-man band directed by the ingenious Charly Zastrau, who has created his own world of sound especially for this show.
