Wenn es heute noch eine Musiklegende gibt, die man noch live erleben kann, dann ist ist es Sir Paul McCartney. Der Ex-Beatle ist im Abstand einer der erfolgreichsten Songwriter der gesamten Musikgeschichte. Mit "Yesterday" schrieb er den meistgespielten Pop-Song aller Zeiten. Als Sänger und Bassist der legendären Beatles erlangte er in den 60er Jahren Weltruhm und auch solo stürmte er mit Hits wie "Say Say Say", "Ebony And Ivory" und "Hope Of Deliverance" die Spitze der Charts. Im Rahmen seiner "On The Run "-Tour spielte er mit seiner langjährigen Band (Paul ‘Wix’ Wickens, Brian Ray, Rusty Anderson und Abe Laboriel Jr.) eine exklusive Deutschland-Show in der Kölner Lanxess Arena. Anfang 2015 überraschte er mit Kollaborationen mit den Superstars Kanye West und Rihanna. Aus diesem Projekt entstanden die Hits "Only One" und "FourFiveSeconds". Wir können gespannt bleiben, ob man demnächst noch mehrere solcher Zusammenarbeiten zu hören bekommt oder Paul McCartney gar live mal wieder erleben kann.
