About
Miguel announces "CAOS Tour" with german dates in 2026
Two decades on, Miguel continues to redefine modern R&B, affirming his place as one of music’s most daring and dynamic voices.
Born and raised in Los Angeles’ San Pedro, Miguel began experimenting with music as a teenager, combining smooth R&B influences with a heady hit of hip-hop bombast. His first major break came as a songwriter on Jaheim’s Grammy-nominated hit ‘Finding My Way Back’, where Miguel’s contribution was evident in its deft counterbalance of vulnerability and swagger, a hallmark of his later solo work. By 2010, Miguel had arrived with his debut album All I Want Is You, featuring hits like ‘Sure Thing’ and ‘Quickie’.
Miguel’s sophomore album Kaleidoscope Dream (2012) propelled him into the mainstream, debuting in the Billboard Top Five and earning multiple Grammy nominations. The sultry, platinum-certified single ‘Adorn’ won the Grammy for Best R&B Song and quickly became a modern classic, praised for its lush production and steamy lyricism. He continued to push boundaries with Wildheart (2015), a daring and atmospheric record steeped in sensual slow jams that debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and earned another Grammy nomination. His next release, War & Leisure (2017), fused political undertones and themes of social justice with breezy pop, delivering the platinum-certified hit ‘Sky Walker’ featuring Travis Scott.
Beyond his own catalogue, Miguel has proven himself to be a sought-after collaborator, songwriter, and producer, contributing his distinctive touch to a string of gold and platinum records. From his retro-tinged duet ‘#Beautiful’ with Mariah Carey and the hypnotic ‘Everyday’ with A$AP Rocky, to soulful turns alongside J. Cole, Dua Lipa, and Mac Miller, his versatility has made him one of contemporary R&B’s most influential creative forces. Embracing his heritage, Miguel expanded his sound with the Spanish-language EP Te Lo Dije (2019), which marked his debut on Billboard’s Latin charts.
After a short break from music, Miguel saw an unexpected resurgence when his 2010 hit ‘Sure Thing’ went viral on TikTok in 2023, introducing his signature sound to a new generation and propelling the track to its highest-ever position on the Billboard Hot 100. Buoyed by its success, he returned later that year with ‘Give It to Me’, a smoky prelude to his 2024 album Caos and upcoming tour. Set to deliver soul-stirring sets and sharp choreography, it signals an unmissable return of R&B’s most captivating live performers.
Miguel tickets are avalable at Ticketmaster.
