Der amerikanische Singer-Songwriter, Schauspieler und Mitglied der bahnbrechenden New Kids On The Block, Joey McIntyre, hat heute ein ganz besonderes Konzert im Kölner Gloria für den 21. Juni 2023 angekündigt. Die Show folgt auf sein gefeiertes, ausverkauftes Konzert in der New Yorker Carnegie Hall Anfang des Jahres und findet vor zwei ausverkauften Shows in London am 23. und 24. Juni statt.

Joey McIntyres phänomenale und illustre Karriere begann im Alter von 12 Jahren, als er für New Kids On The Block vorsprach. Um es kurz zu machen: Die Band verkaufte über 80 Millionen Tonträger und sorgt bis heute für ausverkaufte Arenen.

Als Solokünstler schrieb Joey den Top-Ten-Hit "Stay the Same". Zu seinen TV-/Filmrollen gehören Matt in "The Fantasticks", David E. Kellys "Boston Public", "The McCarthy's" auf CBS und der moderne Klassiker "The Heat" mit Sandra Bullock und Melissa McCarthy.

Zu seinen Theatererfolgen zählen mehrere regionale Theaterproduktionen. In New York spielte er den Jonathan in der Original-Off-Broadway-Produktion von Tick, Tick, Boom, Fiyero gegenüber Idina Menzel in Wicked und zuletzt Dr. Pomatter in Waitress The Musical.
