Gunna Tickets

It didn’t take long for the trap world to take notice of this rapper’s melodic, dynamic flow as he rocketed past many into stardom. 

Having grown up in College Park, Georgia, on the likes of Outkast and Cam’ron, Sergio Giavanni Kitchens began making music in his late teens, releasing his first mixtape in 2013 under the moniker Yung Serg. Within a few years he was brushing shoulders with Gucci Mane, Young Thug and Travis Scott on Thug’s ‘Floyd Mayweather’. 

With the ‘Floyd Mayweather’ collab a hit, Gunna was soon signed to Thug’s YSL label, releasing the mixtapes Drip Season and Drip Season 2 in quick succession to build on this momentum, before releasing his debut EP Drip or Drown, produced by Wheezy. Gunna was keen to collaborate further, working alongside trap artists and producers including Metro Boomin, Lil Uzi Vert and Lil Yachty. In early 2018 he paired with close friend Lil Baby to release the viral track ‘Sold Out Dates’, which paved the way for the pair’s mixtape Drip Harder later that year. Lead by single ‘Drip Too Hard’, Drip Harder also featured appearances from Drake, Lil Durk and Young Thug, and peaked at No.4 on the Billboard 200. 

Continuing a prolific run, in 2019 Gunna released his debut full-length, Drip or Drown 2. Featuring the tracks ‘One Call’, ‘Speed It Up’ and ‘Who You Foolin’, the album was praised as “the perfect rap album for a bruised America” by The Guardian. Peaking at third place on the Billboard 200 and topping the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, Gunna now seemed a staple in the upper ranks of the charts and had no intention of moving, as proved by his next album, Wunna, with its TikTok viral title track and which became his first No.1 album on the first week of its release. Successive albums DS4EVER (2022), A Gift & a Curse (2023) – which featured the mega hit ‘FukUMean’ – and One of Wun (2024) enjoyed similar commercial success. 

In 2025, Gunna released his sixth studio album, The Last Wun. Fans needn’t have worried about its title, with the rapper confirming it was just his last on his long-time label YSL. Far from it: with a world tour booked for March 2026, this trap star is just getting started.
