FKA twigs announces BODY HIGH TOUR with one stop in Berlin

Restricting FKA twigs to just her music would not do justice to her art. Rather, the 37-year-old Grammy-nominated Brit is a multidisciplinary icon of her generation: a singer-songwriter, producer, choreographer, dancer, visual artist, actress, and fashion visionary who expresses herself across all these dimensions. Her distinctive sound—blending R&B, avant-pop, trip-hop, and electronic music—is skillfully interwoven with dance, fashion, and acting. Since the early 2010s, she has risen from London’s underground art and club scene to worldwide acclaim through her music, videos, and songs such as “Two Weeks,” “cellophane,” and “tears in the club” featuring The Weeknd. To date, the artist has graced the covers of Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, GQ, Dazed, and i-D, and has fronted major campaigns for brands like Calvin Klein, H&M, Marc Jacobs, Apple, and Sotheby’s. This unique balancing act between art, luxury, and cultural progress is paired with her outspoken advocacy for women’s empowerment and their presence in art and technology, making FKA twigs one of the most visionary and influential creatives of her generation.

Tahliah Debrett Barnett was born in Cheltenham, England, to an English mother and a Jamaican father. Both parents were devoted to the arts, laying the foundation for her own creative journey. Under the stage name twigs, she began writing her first songs at 16. At 17, she moved to London, where she worked as a dancer and released her debut EP “EP1” in 2012. After changing her name to FKA twigs, she followed up with her second EP “EP2” in 2013. Her debut album “LP1” arrived in 2014, earning her a nomination for the BBC “Sound of” award, and in 2015 she released the EP “M3LL155X.” In 2019, FKA twigs dropped her album “Magdalene,” cementing her reputation as one of the boldest artists of her generation through a fusion of movement, experimental sounds, and cinematic storytelling. In 2022, she released her mixtape “CAPRISONGS.” That same year, she became the youngest solo musician to receive NME’s “Godlike Genius” award, honoring her impact as a boundary-breaking innovator across multiple disciplines. In January 2025, she continued her multidimensional artistic vision with the album “Eusexua,” reaffirming her extraordinary status. On November 14, she followed up with “Eusexua Afterglow,” the fourth album of her career. This record is not a deluxe edition or a collection of B-sides, but an entirely new album conceived as a sequel. Earlier in 2025, FKA twigs toured Europe on her Eusexua 2025 Tour, performing at Berlin’s Uber Eats Music Hall. In 2026, she will return with her BODY HIGH TOUR across North America, the UK, and Europe, and will perform live at Berlin’s Velodrom on June 12, 2026.
