About
The ‘Ordinary’ singer has proven himself to be anything but
From living in his car and filming TikTok videos to becoming one of pop’s brightest new stars, Alex Warren has a gift for turning tales of hardship into rallying anthems of love, grief and resilience.
Gaining internet notoriety as a founding member of the Hype House, the content collective he co-created in 2019 alongside fellow TikToker-turned-pop sensation Addison Rae, Warren soon amassed tens of millions of followers with his viral prank videos and reality-show persona. In 2021, he turned his attention to music, releasing his debut single ‘One More I Love You’, an emotional ballad written about the untimely loss of his father. Alex Warren signed with Atlantic Records the following year.
With nods to a childhood spent listening to worship music (as well as mainstream artists such as Coldplay), Warren’s 2024 debut album You’ll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter One) introduced fans to his signature soaring vocals and raw lyricism. Singles such as ‘Burning Down’ and ‘Carry You Home’ earned the singer-songwriter some of his first chart placements, building momentum that would explode the following year. In 2025, Warren re-released the album alongside some newer tracks, catapulting his bombastic, record-breaking ballad ‘Ordinary’ into the spotlight. Praised for its rousing chorus, lush production and dramatic crescendo replete with hymn-like backing vocals, the track fittingly found its feet on TikTok, before dominating the charts. Spending 13 non-consecutive weeks at No.1 on the UK Singles Chart, ‘Ordinary’ became the longest-running chart-topper of the decade and the longest reign by a US solo artist ever in the country. Alongside his meteoric rise and copious commercial successes, Warren has also earned ample recognition from the industry, drawing comparisons to Hozier and Shawn Mendes, and collaborating with the likes of Rosé and Jelly Roll. In 2025, he won the MTV Video Music Award for Best New Artist and performed a powerful mashup of his hit songs ‘Eternity’ and ‘Ordinary’, letting his inimitable vocals shine through against an ensemble of drummers. Earlier this year, Warren launched his first major headline tour entitled ‘Cheaper Than Therapy’, a reference to the emotional and vulnerable themes in his work, and how music has helped him to process certain personal struggles. The tour was an instant success, with a slew of sold-out dates and venue upgrades.
Spring 2026 sees the artist head to the UK and Europe for his Alex Warren Presents: Little Orphan Alex Live tour.
