Global superstar Adele has confirmed 10 exclusive summer shows at Munich Messe in Germany. Adele will perform in an open-air environment that has been exclusively created for these special shows. The bespoke arena will feature a combination of seated grandstands and standing areas with capacity for 80,000 people per night. “A one off, bespoke pop up stadium designed around whatever show I want to put on?” Adele noted on her Instagram.  She went on to say “I couldn’t think of a more wonderful way to spend my summer.”  These exclusive European dates mark the first time Adele has played mainland Europe since 2016.

Adele has been a superstar since the release of her debut album 19 in 2008. The British singer has been showered with accolades, including 16 Grammy Awards and an Academy Award for “Skyfall.” Adele’s blend of classical soul and gospel with heartfelt pop balladry has made her an international phenomenon. Her second album, 21 (2011), sold over 31 million copies and topped the Billboard 200 for 24 weeks, becoming the bestselling album of the 21st century.

She continued her chart-topping dominance on 25 (2015) and 30 (2021) — the latter becoming the fastest-selling album of the year in both the United States and United Kingdom. In November 2021, Adele announced WEEKENDS WITH ADELE, an exclusive residency at Las Vegas’ The Colosseum at Caesars Palace that runs through June 2024. In August and based at Munich Messe, Adele will perform in an open-air arena that has been exclusively created for these special shows. The bespoke arena will feature a combination of seated grandstands and standing areas with capacity for 80,000 people per night.
